Suspending One's Disbelief

Look, people, it's hard enough to suspend one's disbelief when one sees a film set in, say, Spain, and everybody speaks, say, English.

I can do that whether people talk in American English, English English or English with a heavy Spanish accent. That all works.

But mixing the three up in one film with no indication given whatsoever why one person talks like this and another talks like that is really pushing things. Yes, I'm looking at YOU, Goya's Ghosts.
