By chance I came across an incredibly self-important post entitled "Bloggin is not for Tom, Dick and Harry". Here's how it starts:

I didn't really like the fact that many people have started to blog because it is a trend. I feel insulted by the fact that people thinks blogging is an easy task. No doubt, blogging is easy entry. Any Tom, Dick and Harry can start an account and blog. The challenging part is maintenance. You need to have the passion to blog.
