It is o.k. to not like The Beatles. If you don't you can simply say so. There is no need to add a disclaimer about how you absolutely understand that they were important and innovative and possibly geniuses, the lot of them. Absolutely no need whatsoever.

I agree that you shouldn't add a disclaimer saying they were possibly geniuses.
