"Felix was beside himself with excitement. He shrieked with pleasure when he saw cars coming the other way. He and Stefan kept bracing themselves, thinking there was going to be a head-on crash.That, of course, refers to the Amstetten children. I know it's from the Daily Mirror, but it's just too plausible to be made up.
"When we left the hospital with the boys it was dark, and they were fascinated by the vehicles' headlights. They were shouting and hiding behind the seats. Everything was new and amazing. But the best bit was when they saw the moon.
"They were open-mouthed with awe, nudging each other and pointing. I've seen a lot, but nothing like this."
