Help Wanted: Randomized Controlled Trials
Am currently preparing a longish and possibly pointless post about randomized controlled trials. Which got me wondering again: What exactly is the controlled in "randomized controlled trials" supposed to denote? Simply that there are researchers keeping an eye on how things are going or is there more to it?
